Hello ODP editors,

First, great job on this directory!

I submitted my site to the ODP on September 26th 2002 and I was thrilled to find my site in the ODP directory on the first of November 2002 in Business: Marketing and Advertising: Marketing Support Services: Media: Audio

However, to this day, when I search for my site I don't get any results at all. The last update for that category was on 7:00 PT, Tuesday, October 22, 2002 and I read in another forum that ODP was working on updating the search results from September 28, 2002. My question is, would it be better for me to resubmit my site to this or another category or should I simply hold tight and wait for the fix?

My second question is that I also have a french version of my site http://www.avoxtar.com/accueil.html which I have not yet submitted... and I'm wondering if it would be OK for me to submit that part of my site to the international section as well?

If your site already appears on the public pages on the ODP, it WILL be included in the next search database update - no action is needed on your part. By sounds of things, your site was listed just after the category it is in was included in the database.

If your French site has content worth listing, then please feel free to submit it for listing under the appropriate French category

I'm afraid I don't understand your question. As you say, your site is already listed, and you are aware that it doesn't how up in search results because of a technical problem we are having. I don't see what you think you might acheive by re-submitting.

As for the French language copy of your site, yes, please do submit it to somewhere in World/Français/.
