Hello - I submitted this site about one month ago. Can I just get the updated status on it? I hope DMOZ likes it - I spent months on it.

We cant do anything without a clickable link to the category the site was submitted to. See the Read before posting notice on top of this forum.

No submission for that URL is waiting in the given category, none was processed yet. Possible reasons:

1) You submitted somewhere else
2) You submitted a different URL
3) You received an error message of any kind when submitting.

I've just submitted the site to http://dmoz.org/Home/Consumer_Information/Electronics/Communications/Phones/Cell/ , where it now awaits review with a small number of sites. If the site were listed in the ODP, my guess is that it would be best placed there (though I might be wrong about that). In any case, you've got one submission waiting now, and if it turns out that the site belongs elsewhere, it should be moved, and will then wait for review in the correct category.

Check back after a few weeks if you'd like another update. Sorry about the trouble submitting.

Thanks Jim - I know it could take 2 weeks or more. (My site has been almost two months now)

The issue I have is my site, http://www.cellphonecarriers.com has been moved by Windharp somewhere, and I can't find his post on this thread.

I can wait the time, I just don't know what category my site is 'waiting in'.

Interesting. I just looked into the logs of the site and could not see that I touched it at all.

Boy - now I am really confused. Is there anyway to find out just where exactly my site is in a category? I submitted to a category two months ago, then it was moved three weeks ago to a category that "looked more relevant and had less sites waiting to get reviewed".

If there is no way to find my site in the queue, can I just resubmit it to another category? I has been two months, but it's my fault for not properly remembering the category I originially submitted it too and where it got moved too.

Or maybe I am just going a little crazy? I could swear up and down it was moved by someone here at resource-zone.

As for the rest, we won't tell you who does what, and we will remove any editor who does tell you, partly because of threats we've had in the past. And if you ask which editor did what, we will assume you're planning violence, and react accordingly. So drop that line of enquiry NOW, PERMANENTLY.

Hutcheson - I was just asking about my listing that I thought was moved, and resourze-zone helped me in the past. I guess I have asked the wrong question and offended someone somehow, which was not my intention at all. Sorry if I offended anyone, I really am not sure what I did though.
