There's been no change I'm afraid. This is because there are technical problems with the ODP, and this translates into frustrating delays for editors. The editor that normally handles that category has stopped trying to add new sites and instead spends his time cleaning up, a task which suffers less from the delays.

However it's not all bad news. There are new servers due to turn up any day now, and when they are set up, the editing side will whizz along, alowing us to get much more work done. The t-shirts editor has every intention of clearing the vast majority of the backlog as soon as the new servers become active.

Hang in there. It won't be a neverending wait.

Just watching my visitors and I have had several visits from a dmoz editor. Im unsure, will i be informed if my URL doesnt get listed after being viewed by an editor?

There have been about 4 visits..

No, you dont get any response unless you ask. Site is listed, due to the problems with synchronisating the public server it will stay invisible until the issue is solved.

No.

But I wouldn't worry about that, your site has been listed about a week ago. It won't be visible until the public pages update, which will hopefully happen soon.

Even if a site has been visited by an editor and is not listed it doesn't mean a listing has been declined. The site can still be in the pool of sites awaiting review, or it may have been moved to a more appropriate category for review etc.
