Not sure of the exact date of submission of this site, but I'm pretty sure it was over a month ago. The site http://www.deskmatic.com was submitted to the category http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Health/Disabilities/Assistive_Technology/Ergonomic_Equipment/.

Any information kindly received.

It is not in the unreviewed pool there. I also don't see any evidence that it has been reviewed by an editor, moved, or deleted. As a result, I assume that you either submitted somewhere else, or the submission did not get through.

Before you resubmit, I have one question and one observation.

The question: Is this the main site for your company? Generally, we do not list product-specific subsites of companies, although there are some occasional exceptions.

The observation: In any case, this would not be the correct category for this site. To be listed in Shopping/ there would have to be price and ordering information, and I don't see any. To be honest, I'm not particularly certain where this site would fit, and I'm not going to look too hard when I don't know if it is just a product-specific subsite. My guess is that it, if listable, would probably belong in a subcat of:
http://dmoz.org/Business/Healthcare/Products_and_Services/Disability/

The site http://www.deskmatic.com is the main site for "Harbourne Ergonomic Products" which is a division of the Harbourne Design Group.

Would this cause any problems?

It's not waiting there, nor do I see any evidence that it was moved or deleted. When you submitted, did you receive an error message (e.g. 500 Internal Server Error), or a message about your submission being caught by our spam filters (e.g. "Could not determine your IP address")? Due to hardware problems many submitters have recently received "500 Internal Server Errors" when trying to submit; if you got one of these, the submission was not received, and I suggest resubmitting. If, on the other hand, you got the message about your IP address, your submission will be sorted to the correct category, and there is no need to resubmit.

Just wondering [from an editors point of view], since the two companies are effectively different, one is marketing a workstation, and one is a general manufacturing company, it would seem that it would perfectly reasonable to have a separate listing in ODP for www.harbournedesign.demon.co.uk under some totally different category, if they wanted to do that.

However, it they started manufacturing another appliance, and set up a separate web site for that, then maybe there would be a problem.

Firstly....
No error was given on the submission if my memory serves me correctly. No IP or Error 500.
What to do next? another submission?

So a listing in the category http://dmoz.org/Business/Healthcare/Products_and_Services/Disability/Seating_and_Positioning_Aids/ would be ok... am i correct?
