The only reservation I had was that in April 03 I sold http://www.gamblerslodge.com and this is also listed in the above catagory.

As the page title is almost the same EG. Gamblers Lodge UK, Gamblers Lodge...I'm wondering if this would prevent http://www.gamblerslodge.co.uk from being listed.

If so would it be advisable to re-submit to
http://www.dmoz.org/Games/Gambling/Guides/

I did see via my stats, that on the 25 of Nov an editor has viewed my site.

I wouldn't suggest submitting to the Guides category because the information on the site about the games looks basic and minimal to me. It doesn't seem like it would add value to that category.

The similarity to gamblerslodge.com could be a problem, yes. It's more than just the title, but there's a lot that's different too.

The thing I'd worry about if I were reviewing that site is that there are only four casinos reviewed, and you have ads for all four of them. That might lead me to conclude that its purpose is more affiliate than informative.

I'm no expert in this area, far from it, so that's all just my opinion.

Oh and it's really too early to request status, we request that you wait a full calendar month. But it's pretty obvious that I've looked, so yes, the suggestion awaits review for the reviews category.

To the ODP it does not matter who owns a site or how the content is presented, it is the content that counts. And it looks like you sold a copy of that, too. For example the reviews are ther same on both sites, the "dodgy casinos" page is approximately the same on both pages, ...
