Thanks for the reply, and indeed the compliment.
Many if not most of our customers are woodworkers, so the second heading:
dmoz.org/Arts/Crafts/Woodcraft/Woodworking/Hardware/
would be more appropriate for us. This is why I submitted for this heading. I am not trying for multiple headings, so would be fine with being delisted in the:
Shopping: Home and Garden: Home Improvement: Hardware: Decorative
heading if that is necessary. Please advise if this is possible and how to proceed.

The best way to get your listing considered for a move is to go to the category where it currently resides and click on the Update URL button. You then can request that the listing be moved, and explain why you would like it to be moved there.

The reviewing editor will decide. Please note that if the reviewing editor does not have editing permissions in the new category, then your site will be placed in the unreviewed pool for that category until such time as an editor with appropriate permissions can review you.

We do not make those moves/changes based on requests here for two important reasons: 1) your move request would not be logged as part of the notes for that site; and, 2) doing so would circumvent the process that is in place and would lead to a flood of postings asking us to short circuit the normal process.
