I know this is a large category (957 entries), but sadly the best place for my site. How can I suggest a subcategory?

Suggesting a subcat here will suffice - we can bring it up in our internal discussion forums and if there is a concensus the category can be made.

In that particular category, the subcategories include catalog items (caps, pens, mugs, etc). Most promotional product web sites have a varied catalog (as evident by the vast numbers in the general "Promotional Products" category.) I would say 95% of these just list a catalog and make the user call or email someone to place an order.

I would like to suggest a "Online Design & Ordering" subcategory. Only sites where online design / ordering is possible would be listed.

Will someone please update me on the status of Hqgear.com?

The unreviewed pool in this category is very large -- hundreds of sites -- so if I were you, I would save myself some time and effort by waiting at least three months before checking the status again.
