Submitted Jul. 24 to http://www.dmoz.org/Arts/Visual_Arts/Painting/Painters/Landscapes/F/
and tryed to resubmit today to a good alternative: http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Alaska/Localities/J/Juneau/Arts_and_Entertainment but it asked for a "ByPassword" and I'm not an editor so don't think it "took". Any advice appreciated.

You are correct on both counts: The first suggestion awaits review in the indicated category, and the second one was not received due to a bug in our configuration.

Your best bet is probably to wait a few days and try the second one again.

but still no listing, and Juneau has under 200 total, so am wondering if it was rejected. Just discovered that what you call "URL cloaking" really means frames, and the site *is* framed, with the real content at:
http://home.gci.net/~jimfowler/. Should I resubmit a third time using this, or am I still in the queue and should just wait? Thanks. -- walt

Ouch. The three fates strike again. The website has been working uninterrupted for months, indexed by PicSearch and everything -- wouldn't you know, our ISP webserver at gci.net went down about thirty minutes ago. The techs assure me that it's not an account problem and the web pages aren't lost, it will be back up in an hour (that probably means after Thanksgiving). Wonder if I should dig out the backup files. Anyway,guess I'll have to postpone my question for another day. Thanks!!

Sorry, it's still waiting, but there's only 3 sites in Juneau waiting in total. Next time someone edits there it'll probably get added.

The editor should change the URL when they list it, so no need to be concerned about it.
