I would like to know the status of http://www.magnatag.com

I believe it was submitted to the following category:
http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Construction_and_Maintenance/Materials_and_Supplies/Specialties/Chalkboards_and_Whiteboards/

It is not in the unreviewed sites of that category. Are you sure it was submitted there?

There is also no record of any editor listing or deleting the site for any reason.

Without the "exact" category it was submitted to, we won't be able to find it with no history of the URL.

Do you remember when it was submitted?

Thanks for the quick response. To my knowledge it was submitted about a month ago to the above category.

Since you say it's not in that category could you check to see if it is listed under
http://dmoz.org/Business/Consumer_Goods_and_Services/Office_Products/Supplies/

If it's not listed there, should I resubmit the site? Which of the two categories would be most appropriate?

Probably no one answered because
1. The queue is quite large and takes the editor quite a bit of time to load.
2. You don't even know if that is the correct category so all that time may amount to nothing.

Regardless, I just loaded the queue and as with the previous category you listed, your site is not there either. I would just go ahead and resubmit to the one most appropriate category and make a note of where you are submitting to <img src="/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" />

BTW, your site redirects to http://www.magnatag.com/home.asp which is a blank page (at least from here), so I'm afraid no one will give you advice on the appropriate category <img src="/images/icons/smirk.gif" alt="" />

Since the main focus of the site seems to be the sales of the products, may I suggest http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Office_Products ?

Still awaiting review in that category, but is now listed in http://dmoz.org/North_America/United_States/New_York/Localities/M/Macedon and has been since the end of May.

This should not affect the possibility of being listed in the category you name, though.

The only thing we can say about the standing in the queue is that you are in it.

I don't mean to sound unhelpful, but editors can sort the list in any way they want, and review in any order they want.
