It's there in the queue alongside nearly two hundred other sites. I'm afraid you'll have to be patient.

Hi,
Please could you give me an update on this one. Another 2 months have passed.

Should I remain patient or should I consider submitting to another, perhaps local category.

Thanks

The number of sites waiting for review is quite long as stated above, it may take a long time... (no change yet)

Hi Team,
Another 2 months has passed. It is now 6 months since submission. Is the queue still as large? Should I consider submitiing to another category?

Any help much appreciated.

Actually, having looked at the site, you don't belong in http://dmoz.org/Business/Business_Services/Security/Products_and_Equipment/Fire_Fighting_Equipment/ because it's an online shopping site. You don't indicate where you ship to (just the UK? Europe? Worldwide?) -- if it is outside of the UK, then I would say http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Home_and_Garden/Emergency_Supplies/Fire/ would be more appropriate. If it is just within the UK, then I would think http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Business_and_Economy/Shopping/Home_and_Garden/ would be the one.

Thanks for looking at the site.

The vast majority of orders received are "B2B" rather than "Home and Garden" type customers - this is why we submitted to a "Business Services" category.

We supply to the UK but there did not appear to be a suitable equivalent category in the UK section.

Perhaps we should just submit to our regional area category or perhaps:-

Any advice appreciated.
