Yes, that was the last time I submitted. The first time I submitted was six months ago . I emailed the editor but never heard back, and now there is no editor for that category.
Your new submission has just over-written the old one, so it looks as though you only submitted recently. As I said, the site *is* in the queue, waiting for someone to get to it.
OK I see, well just a few more questions and then I will not bug you any more, do you have any idea how many submissions are in front of mine, how will not having an editor for this category affect the amount of time it will take to be accepted or denied, and lastly each time that it get resubmitted dose it move it to the back of the line?
Sites are sorted in the unreviewed queue in many different manners: by URL, by title, by date, etc. So even if you're the latest person to submit that doesn't always mean you have to wait until the others are done before yours is seen.
OK I see, I see there is not way of knowing how many submissions are in front of mine, but I never got an answer to the other questions; how will not having an editor for this category affect the amount of time it will take to be accepted or denied, do you know if the is going to be an editor for this category soon and lastly each time that it get resubmitted dose it move it to the back of the line?
>> how will not having an editor for this category affect the amount of time it will take to be accepted or denied
It doesn't affect. Editors with higher privs (editall+ and editors with privs in upper categories) can edit there. There is no category "without an editor" in ODP. there are only categories with a listed editor and categories without a listed editor
>> do you know if the is going to be an editor for this category soon
We don't know if there will be a listed editor in this category, and we don't know when any other editor having privs to edit this cat will decide to go through the backlog there.
>> each time that it get resubmitted dose it move it to the back of the line
each time a site is resubmitted it rewrites the previous submission, and puts it at the bottom of the queue (if the queue is sorted by date of submission). Just notice that editors can choose to sort the unrevieweds queue by title, URL, etc.. The date of submission isn't therefore a parameter that can be used for forecasts.
Did you know you may also submit to the Regional category of your locality? That would be Regional: North America: United States: California: Localites: T: Tustin: Business and Economy. We can't promise anything, but there is only one submission waiting for review in that category now, so your site might be reviewed much faster there. And you don't lose your chance for Business listing, as these two listings are independent.
