Your site was submitted on March 30, and is awaiting review. The forum guidelines ask that you wait at least a month before checking on the status of a submission, and between status updates. Please wait at least another month before asking again, and please re-use this thread if you do.

(have also submitted to a regional category in the last few weeks, not asking about that submission though)

Also, if I have submitted this to a regional category should I ask about that in a separate post?

It's still in review in the Computers category. It's not in http://dmoz.org:/Regional/Oceania/Australia/South_Australia/Localities/A/Adelaide/Business_and_Economy/ - but I guess that's not where you submitted it.

Should I keep checking back about this? It seems like there is never much progress and I am none the wiser about an expected timeframe for inclusion.

I don't think I'll worry about starting another thread for the regional category, it will only add to my frustration .

I'm sorry but we can't give you any more information than we already have (i.e. whether or not your site is still waiting). There is no way we can estimate a timeframe.

Regarding the Regional category, the correct place to ask about it would be here in this thread, not in a new one. Note: it isn't waiting in any of the Regional categories I would have expected it to have been submitted to (you either submitted it somewhere unexpected or the submission didn't go through) but I'll tell you now that the correct place for it would have been Prospect B&amp;E. However, since your main company URL is already listed in that category, it's unlikely that the hosting subsite would be listed as well.

http://www.richeshosting.com/ was deleted as the companies (a division of Riches Communications Pty Ltd) main site is already listed in Prospect as http://riches.com.au/ .

We don't provide a listing for each product or service of a company, but expect that the business owner will do that on their site.

Breaking the navigation between sites or not providing company information will not make two sites listable, we will just have to choose the one with the most content.

Note the listing in http://dmoz.org/Regional/Oceania/Australia/South_Australia/Localities/P/Prospect/Business_and_Economy was previously updated to include the fact the company offers hosting services.

I'm not going to argue with your editorial policies but I think this should be spelled out clearly in the DMOZ FAQs. There are two separate divisions of our company that provide web hosting and domain name registration services respectively, both registered under separate business names.

It's nice that the regional listing was updated but it is buried so deeply in the directory it doesn't help much.

A suggestion to include that site awaits review in the indicated category. I'm sorry to have to say that, including all the letters, thousands of other suggestions await review there.

Because of the large backlog it might be better for your peace of mind to wait several months or more between status requests rather than just the one month minimum we require. Should you inquire again, please reuse this thread rather than starting a new one.
