And guess what: The submission is waiting for review.
To be honest, I dont really understand what the question is.

Yep, it's still awaiting review, along with about 70 other sites.

I assure you, I spent a lot of time making sure the directory that site should be submitted to is correct. Getting in the directory would help my business a lot. I'm sure you hear this sob-story time and again, and I hear volunteers spend large portions of their time sorting things into correct directories.

It is just very frustrating to not have my site looked at for 3 months after submission. Is there something I can do? I'd be glad to put in some volunteer time to help dmoz in return for someone looking at my submission, but I was already rejected from being an editor.

Editor time is very limited. And adding _submissions_ is only one of the many tasks editors do. We do not start editing somewhere as a result of a forum post in here - this forum would break if we started to do so.

We understand your anxiety, it is just that in the grand scheme of things, three months is not a very long time. It is not unusual for sites to wait in excess of a year for a listing.

This means, unfortunately, all you can do is wait. But, while you are waiting, keep working on adding unique content to your website because that, more than anything else, will increase the changes of your site getting listed.

If, somehow, we could snap our fingers and have enough qualified editors to ensure that no site submission waited longer than 90 days, we would do it in a heartbeat. Unfotunately, that probably isn't going to happen.

Your site has been added, but will not show in the public view of DMOZ until hardware upgrades are completed - we do not have a firm date when that will happen. Also, the category to which you submitted is being re-organized due to the large number of sites that have been submitted. Your site has been moved to a new subcategory within that area. Since the actual subcategory name may change, I have not provided it at this time.

When you see subcategories within http://www.dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Internet/Servers/Shopping/Auctions/ then you will be able to see your site.
