Hello,

I have submitted my site, www.Take5Video.com to the http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Arts_and_Entertainment/Media_Production/Video/Wedding_Videographers/ directory for inclusion.

I believe I submitted previously to the wrong directory. The above is a precise definition of the site, Wedding Videography.

If possible, I would like to see if any status exists for inclusion of our site and ask for help in cleaning up my submission to a possible different directory.

The site is awaiting review in the category you mentioned. Given that you're by far not the only Wedding Videographer who has submitted there I suggest you wait at least two or three month before asking for a status update.

You can make a second submission to the Regional category where you are located, that is somewhere under http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Oklahoma/Localities/B/Broken_Arrow/ . This second submission will not interfere with the first one.

Submission Update

Please forgive me, but I was wondering where I can find steps to update a listing. My business is listed in the ODP, however our business has experienced a name change and I would like to see if I could have the Name Changed as well as the description updated to help people better understand our service offerings.

We were Take 5 Productions and have since changed our name to Take 5 Video in addition have added wedding cinematography on super 8 film to our service offering.

You need to go to the dmoz.org category where you are listed. At the top of the category page (where you see your site listed) is an "Update Listing" in the menu bar.

You need to select the "Update a listing" and follow the directions for changing the information you feel needs updated. Make sure to clear describe the requested changes and why they need made. The update will be be marked for editors working in the area to re-review the update. When an editor reviews the update requests (there is no way to predict how long that might be, but updates take priority to many editors) he will re-review based on your request. If the editor feels the information needs updating they will make changes.

Please note, that updates require an independent re-review of the site.
