So they have to have an actual public store in the area? If the location is there, but not open to the public, it doesn't count or is it the actual business and economy part that is incorrect?

If so, thanks for the information.

Partly correct. If they have have a significant influence in a community, i.e. they are a large employer, they may be considered. It isn't just retail.

Public store no, physical existence, such as warehouse / corporate office, yes.

But we can only judge what is on the site.

It also needs to have information on the site that shows it does have some impact in a regional sense - do you employ people? What hours can people come in with returns/complaints? Do you sponsor local little league? Are you a member of the local Chamber of Commerce/BBB? Is there information on the staff that work there (employment)?

If you are mail order / internet order only business, then having you listed in the locality is of no purpose to anyone wanting to physically shop, look for a job, etc.

It's a bit of a judgement call on Regional listings, but unless we actually have an editor in your area who knows the business, we can only use the information provided on the site, and even if we do have local knowledge, we try not to use it because it won't be information available to a surfer.

It was rejected previously since there was no address on the site. From what I can see, the editor that rejected you the first time then accepted it after re-submission since it then had an address, but it still waits for actual review.
