Sunday I submitted www.rickschiller.com to:
Top: Business: Arts and Entertainment: Photography: Photographers: Portrait: North America: United States: a state besides California(174) because over an 8 hour period I was unable to submit to Califonia, where I am located, because I kept getting an "internal error" message.
I made it clear in the description that I was located in California and am hopefull the editor will pick it up.

If the editor will respond as to how I should properly proceed, I would appreciate it. My apologies for any extra work I have created.

I answered most of this in the original thread. The status is that your original submission is waiting for review in http://dmoz.org/Business/Arts_and_Entertainment/Photography/Photographers/Portrait/North_America/United_States/California/ along with about 125 others.

There is no need to resubmit. There is no need to worry about the other submission -- either it will be deleted, or it will be moved to this category. Whichever happens, you still have at least one submission waiting for review.

And, as I said in the other thread, I advise you to submit for an additional listing in http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/California/Localities/P/Piedmont/ in addition to your other submission. You should be eligible for listings in both categories, and the wait time may be shorter in Regional/.

If you would like to check the status again, please wait at least a month (or more), and re-use this thread instead of starting a new one. Please, please, please don't start any more threads for this site.

I checked the brick & mortar category you suggested and I'm listed there already! I do not recall submitting there. I am still hopefull to be listed in the http://dmoz.org/Business/Arts_and_Entertainment/Photography/Photographers/Portrait/North_America/United_States/California/ as it will generate more interest. No ones heard of Piedmont.

Happens all the time -- editors frequently go out and find sites to add on their own, especially in little localities in Regional.

What's odd is when I do a search on my name, either "rick schiller" or "rickschiller" at ODP nothing comes up yet my site is listed in the regional. Just curious.
