Could you please inform me of the status of : MonotStreet.com .
submitted under http://dmoz.org/Regional/Middle_East/Lebanon/Beirut/

The submission might still be under a month old but I faced terrible timeouts on dmoz and I am afraid to have submitted reptedly and become considered as Spam and rejected. Furthermore the category didn't seem to have an editor.
Hope I didn't break any guidelines ! Thanks a lot

Your submission got caught by our spam filter and sent for manual sorting. Don't worry about this, our spam filter is easily triggered and we won't hold it against you. It's half way through the sorting process right now, and it will soon be moved to the correct category. There's no need for you to do anything more.

Please wait at least a month before enquiring again (in this thread).

according to dfy's advice. I am enquiring again after one month has passed and my site still has not been added to DMOZ.

I'm afraid it's still stuck in the sorting process. There have been technical problems at the ODP recently that make editing large categories very difficult. New servers are on the way, and we expect that our ability to work with large numbers of submissions will dramatically improve once they are installed. I'm afraid I have to ask you to be patient with us over the next few weeks.

Sorry for insisting, but just to know what to expect,
Does the category have an editor? coz otherwise that waiting period could be quite long

That information is available on the public category page. Check it out, if it matters....

There are questions we _can_ answer. But we can't ever tell you how long it will take for some other volunteer to do something.

Still waiting with a minimal amount of others. My guess (and nowhere near official) is that the next time the category is edited it "could" be listed. Hang in there!
