Could you please email me on the status of abuse report ID:

aefd6d730d23ff0f3d1f1afa5900af9a

If you could have the Meta incharge of the investigation contact me via email. I have a few things I need to add to the report.

Thanks!

You can check the status on http://report-abuse.dmoz.org/ yourself - There is a "check status" feature at the bottom. We don't hand out any additional information that can't be seen there.

If you like to add new information, submit a second report and include the ID of the first one. We will then be able to add the new information to the first report.

That's great and all, but I would like to know a little information on what's actually happening.

If the investigating meta determines that you need to know any of the details of the result of the investigation, they will contact you. It is rare, though, that we are able to divulge such details. You will know when the investigation is complete by looking at the status per windharp's post (the system was temporarily unavailable earlier this week which is why people were getting blank pages but that has been fixed).

Now the status says it is "new" again. This is why I would like to know what is going on.

The only information you will get about the status of your abuse report is available at the link that you have been given. As the meta editor who answered your question said if the meta editor who does the investigation feels you need to know something they will email you. This most likely will not happen though. Thanks and have a great day.

I guess "humans don't do it better." :confuse2:

better is not the same as faster

most of the times doing something fast is doing it worse

Isn't there anyway we can speed this up? There can't be that many abuse reports.
