Status of Application

Greetings,

On January 6, 2004 I submitted an application as "thunderpoet" to edit the category Culinary Institutes

I followed the email verification process to the response from DMOZ on January 6, 2004.

An update on where that stands or does not would be appreciated!

Sorry to say but it looks like that application was denied. I have no way of telling you why but you should have received an e-mail. If you're using Yahoo e-mail you might want to look in the spam/junk mail folder to see if the denial e-mail is sitting there. Sometimes our e-mails get filtered into those folders. If you do apply again, make sure that you read the FAQ and General Advice thread at the top of this forum.

Well, can they re-send that denial? Because it was never sent the first time, I can guarantee that. I am in Yahoo email every single day and check both the junk/spam and regular Inbox. I do want to see the reason given for a denial.

Applications and denial notes are not saved. The category is a tad larger than we would normally give new editors but that may not have been a factor in the denial.
