I just wanted to find out the status of http://www.aromaboutique.com submitted to http://www.dmoz.org/Shopping/Health/Beauty/Fragrances/ many months ago.

It is not waiting for review, you may resubmit. It is probable the reason is that you submitted at least 5 times and all copies were removed. Usually one copy is left but it is a risk of multiple submissions that this can happen. Ask again here, reusing this thread, one month after resubmitting to confirm it has been received.

Please do NOT start any more threads for this. Just keep posting in this one.

It was received just fine. Just remember what was said above about multiple submissions, this one will stay there until someone reviews it. Continuing to submit isn't beneficial.
