A suggestion of that URL to the category you named has been received. Thank you very much.

It now awaits review by one of our volunteer editors.

I have brought the other issue to the attention of the administrators who will, no doubt, look into it.

Could you tell us what username you are logging into this board as, if it's not the one given at the top of this message, or is it that the name is correct, but you are not an editor?

Edit to add: it's interesting that the editor turulillo appears to be affiliated with the site www.casino-solera.com which this one appears to be affiliated with in some way.

What is your relationship to this editor (if any?)

I didn't use a login and a password, I just came on this site, I started to post and I noticed after that I was logged as Turulillo.
I must have some cookie on my computer.
I don't know any Turulillo.
About the affiliation, you must be wrong, Casino-Solera.com is our site (it's the spanish version) and we are not affiliated with any site casino site, we are using our own software (BW3group).
We dont have affiliated site either because we didn't started the affiliation program yet.
We had somebody working on our search engine marketing and he did include our spanish version in DMOZ, I'll check with him.

Alexandra

And chances are that you have found the answer, already - when we say "affilliation" in this context we mean that the editor had some connection with the site (the more generic English meaning of the word). We do not mean it in the web-standard definition in terms of affiliate sites.

See http://dmoz.org/profiles/turulillo.html for the ODP public profile on the editor.

Hope this helps.

OK, I understand what you mean now.
This guy (I didn't know him as "Turulillo") has been working from the same computer that I use at work, so he already came on this forum with his login and I must have his cookie in the computer.
He said to me he was fired from DMOZ, but he doesn't know why.
I just hope I didn't do something wrong.
Can I still use this account to post here, even if I don't know the login + password (untill the cookie expires) ?
Can you tell me how long I have to wait to know if Casino-Solera.net is accepted, it's a long time now ?

No, there is no way of predicting when any particular site will be reviewed. The standard answer is "anywhere from 2 minutes to over 2 years after it being suggested".

As for distancing yourself from the editor's log-in on here, I would suggest you either delete the cookies in the browser, or just create a new login on here which you can use.

OK OK, but I can't post here anymore and I have to ask for a new login password and anyway the EX editor said to me that he doesn't want to hear about DMOZ anymore so I don't think he will use it again...I'll keep it for me then ;-)
It's a joke, but please review this site because it's such a long time now, why do we have to wait so long ?....OK I shut up but I hope this EX editor didn't do anything wrong against our site just because he hates the way he was fired from DMOZ ?
I stop bothering you now, you're a good guy, and I appreciate the time you spent answering me every time I posted here.
Thank you verry much Alucard, you're verry kind.
You don't have to answer me this time....but please just review my site before I get old.

Regards,

Alexandra

You don't have to wait. You can always do something else instead.

Editors are volunteers. We don't know, and don't ask, why they choose what sites they review. So -- we can't tell you when you ask!

Sigh. It wasn't SUPPOSED to be funny. It was supposed to be sapiental. I guess I've been sending my draft manuscript of "Zen and the art of Directory Maintenance" to the wrong publishers. I could forget the Religious houses and check out the humor labels instead...

The moral of that story is "find the right audience for your content." I'll have to remember that. Implementing it will, I suspect, still be the hard part.
