Status of Cobra Powersports

We are the United States distributor for TGB scooters, Peirspeed scooters and TGB ATVs. We have submitted our website three times and have failed to have it listed on DMOZ.org.

Since I've gone there, however, I'll give you and early status: the submission has been moved to http://dmoz.org/Recreation/Motorcycles/Scooters/Dealers where it waits further review.

Thanks for the update. Who moved it? The category that it is moved to is not the correct category. We are a manufacturer/distributor, not a dealer. The site was submitted to the proper cat. Dealers are people who sell to the public. We only sell wholesale to dealers.

I've been trying to get the editor to list this site for a long time, now I see he’s been dropped off (as of today). So could you please pass this status request on to a Meta? This is a legitimate site that's been on the net for many years; not a mirror, not a spam site. A 100% normal site that’s been trying for over a long time to get listed.

By the way, I used to be a fellow editor for about 2 years in the automotive area until my business got too busy and I had to give it up. I had fun doing my job, but it sure take a ton of time. (Here’s my secrete hand shake. ) I know this is a tough job and I can’t believe you actually volunteer to mod this forum! Thank you. I know it must be hard listening to people like me.

You are correct, TGB is the manufacturer. As I stated above, we are a manufacturer/distributor. We are the manufacturer of Peirspeed scooters and the distributor for TGB.

There is not catagory for Distributors. We are more closely realted to the websites in which we submitted our URL than the Dealer cat.

We are not a dealer and consumers would be confused if we were listed as a dealer because we do not sell to the public. The cat we orginally submitted to also includes other distributors: Baron, CPI USA, Dazon, Eton America, Kasea, Malaguti USA, TN'G, and World Wide Distributing.

But in any case, we would just be happy if a Meta would add us anywhere... even under "Dealers".
