Its been several months more then 6 months for sure. Also, I put my site in the most perfect category http://dmoz.org/Recreation/Picture_Ratings/ no one can deny that. This is a best web directory and i just want to be included. I was on dmoz I think maybe 2 years ago but I am no longer on it and not being included on dmoz has decreased my site page rank and popularity big time. Please help Please I beg of you

How many times have you submitted it? Once and once only please. As it stands we have no information we can give you at this time on this site. Wait a month from the last time you submitted it then bump this thread and ask again - we should have some information by then. Do not submit it again unless told to do so by an editor. You were once listed but the site was checked by an editor and found to be dead last October. Page rank and site popularity has no place at all in our priorities, sorry.

1.) The ODP is not a "Listing Service". It is a directory run by volunteers who seek out sites to make the directory and www better for the average surfer. We never charge for inclusion and no site is guaranteed inclusion in the directory. Sometimes sites are suggested (also known as submitted) often they are found by editors looking on their own. If your site has been suggested you can wait 30 days from the date of the submittal (from the last submittal) and check to see if it is received. Once you know it is received that is all you can do, other than check back every 6 months (from previous status update not submission date) to see if there is any change.

2.) No, do not resubmit anything unless specifically requested by an editor in this forum. Same as oneeye told you in an earlier reply. Each and every resubmission replaces the existing one. If an editor chooses to work through the suggested site pool by submission date (some editors do go by date) then your resubmission sinks back to the bottom of the pool. Resubmissions only can only harm you.

3.) I will leave the status update to an editor with permissions there as I do not have access to that category.

I am not sure when i submitted it but it was more then 6 months it could have been submitted by my brother before 6 months but i am not sure. I am excited about it being placed back on dmoz. when will this be I am curious

On February 14 you were given the answer "As it stands we have no information we can give you at this time on this site. Wait a month from the last time you submitted it then bump this thread and ask again - we should have some information by then."

You can be sure that the last suggestion was not before Januari 14, else we could have told you the status. If you don't know when you suggested the site wait until March 14 before asking again.

Just to be on the safe side, wait until March 14 anyway before asking for someone to check the status. As to when the site might be listed again, I have to tell you it must be re-reviewed by an editor first and that is a very popular category. In the meantime resist all urges to click on the Suggest an URL link.

It is a very popular category and I use to be in that group and I am not sure why dmoz took me out of it. I'll check back on the 14 march take care editors and god bless you for helping me.

Your site was delisted on October 30th simply because it seemed to be dead then.
