status of flagitup.com

hello,

I tried adding my site http://www.flagitup.com/ to dmoz at the begining of the year (2004). I waited a month or two and tried again, waited some more time then tried to contact the editor bubble several times but recieved no repsonse.

The category I was trying to add my site to was http://dmoz.org/Reference/Flags/ . I hope you like the site it even has a quiz on which quite a lot people seem to like

as i am pretty sure it was well over 6 months ago that I submited it.

For a review at the ODP? We don't know. But -- don't even think about waiting anyway.

Yeah, I know how you feel. When I started creating content, as soon as I posted my work, I wanted everyone to drop everything else and immediately update -- I waited and watched with 'bated breath, and all the other proverbial platitudes. But you know the "watched pot" platitude. I eventually figured:

(2) What I had taken six months to do (like an e-text), could wait another six months for someone else to pick up...and I could be working on the next version or next e-text in the meantime.
(3) What I had taken six, um, minutes to do (like a website review) might not be important enough to stop everything to update Lycos. I could be reviewing more sites (so that the Lycos update would be more significant) in the meantime.

Don't focus on what's out of your control, where you've already done what you could. Focus on what you're going to do next.
