status of herpes picture site

Can anyone check the status of http://www.herpes-coldsores-treatment-pictures.com

It was submitted to the http://dmoz.org/Health/Conditions_and_Diseases/Infectious_Diseases/Viral/Herpes/ catagory sometime ago and I have been asked to find out what has happened.

I know this won't be much help, but I can't offhand think of anything you could do that would meet both your needs (or my best estimate of your needs) and ours.

We don't list sites whose primary purpose seems to be to drive traffic to anything commercial.

If I could clarify brmehlan, we don't generally list sites whose primary purpose appears to be to drive traffic to other commercial sites, as yours does.

99 % of all sites on the internet have some kind of commercial association whether it is sponsorship (like in this case) or affiliation so where does dmoz draw the line?

This website is the most extensive website I have seen on the net regarding herpes pictures, and I have seen many.

I also took a look at your website, IMO the main purpose of the site it to drive others to other sites of a commercial nature. It depends on the purpose of a site, if I were the reviewing editor I would have decided not to list. As explained in the guidelines for this forum: If your site has been rejected, please keep in mind that arguing about the editorial decision will not be tolerated. Please note that at the bottom of the "add URL" screen it says "Netscape and the ODP have unfettered editorial discretion to determine the structure and content of the directory" and "a site's placement in the directory is subject to change or deletion at any time". Sorry.
