Just wanted to know the status of my forum for nurses at http://1.myfreebulletinboard.com/nurses.html

I plan on adding many more posts as time permits...... But right at the moment, my forum does not have enough visibility. Thats why a great services such as ODP may really help my site get some needed visibility.

Ah but there are many, many thousand "starter" forums like yours out there - we decided a while back that listing all of them would provide no use to our users - when they go to a forum, they want a forum, that is active, with either the answer to their issue already there or enough users that can answer the forum.

IN the same way that we don't list web sites that are "under construction", we don't list starter forums either.

We make a decision to list or not to list based on current content, not on possible future content.

I would suggest that when your forum has a goodly amount of content, you resubmit, but I think it highly unlikely that this one will be in its current form.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

All I ask is for a chance to be able to get this forum going in a good way...... and ODP can help me to achieve this greatly. I used to be a member of allnurses.com, but they asking there members to pay for a premium membership. My forum will be completely free.

I'm sorry, but the ODP can not help you.

We add sites with content to our directory as a tool for our users. We are not a web site promotion service.

I don't mean to be a prude, but my forum can be a great tool for your users..... nurses from all over can visit my site and share there knowledge and personal experiences. I do want my site to serve as a tool for your users.

It can become one. First get users and content and we might list it. But not the other way around.
