Hello again,

Please could you update me on the status of http://homemoneymanager.com/ which was submitted over two months ago to:

http://dmoz.org/Home/Personal_Finance/Software/

In particular:
(1) Is there an editor for this category (as I have seen no changes in the past two months)?
(2) Is it possible to tell me how many entries there are waiting to be processed before this one, and how many have been processed since my last request for information a month ago?
(3) If the site is eventually accepted into the directory, will I receive an email?
(4) Likewise, if the site is rejected will I receive and email?
(5) Is there any way of estimating how long it might take before the site is reviewed (based on the number of entries waiting, and the historical approval rate).

Any information appreciated,

Kind Regards,
Matt

No change in you review status

(1) Is there an editor for this category (as I have seen no changes in the past two months)?

The appearance of an editor name means nothing as to whether an editor is actually reviewing sites there. We could look at internal logs to see what is happening, but it's not the policy to give that informatoin out.

(2) Is it possible to tell me how many entries there are waiting to be processed before this one, and how many have been processed since my last request for information a month ago?

We no longer give out that information, since we feel it provides no usefull information.

(3) If the site is eventually accepted into the directory, will I receive an email?

No

(4) Likewise, if the site is rejected will I receive and email?

No

(5) Is there any way of estimating how long it might take before the site is reviewed (based on the number of entries waiting, and the historical approval rate).

No, someone could spend sometime creating some kind of hypothetical guess, but it would be meaningless. As they say in the stock market, past performance cannot be used as an indication of invertment worth.

All editors work on their own schedule, and even if no edits had been made in a categroy for 6 months, nothing would stop an editor starting to work on it as I post. Likewise if 8 edits a day occured, nothing stops the editor going on vacation for 6 months starting 10 minutes from now.
