I sent in this URL for consideration a few months ago, for actors and actresses: movies. Since Patrick is a busy actor, and since this is his official website, it would seem logical to include it on his page.

Can someone check into this, please?

I'm sorry I'm not understanding. I haven't done this before. It doesn't help that the categories are not expressly stated as categories. There are so many categories and perhaps subcategories that I'm confused as to what I'm supposed to link to. Yes, I've read DMOZ's instructions for submitting a site--I'm still confused, and I'm not a stupid person.

I've checked this link, and his official website is not there. Perhaps I've done something wrong. Please tell me how to correct any missteps I may have taken. I'd be happy to resubmit.

That is the link we needed; thanks. I didn't see any sign of that suggestion there. But since I was there I added it to be reviewed. There is no need to resubmit.

How long can I expect for it to take my brother-in-law's site to be reviewed and added?

There is no basis for any rational expectation. From the outside, it will always look like a random event. Even from the inside, it nearly always looks random.

Status of http:patrickwarburton.com

In the last year (almost exactly), I have tried twice to get http://patrickwarburton.com listed under actors and actresses. This is his official website. Think the voice of Kronk in the Emperor's New Groove. Think Puddy of Seinfeld, Jeb Denton of Less Than Perfect.

His site is still not listed. What do I do?

I have come here before to ask about his site submission. The last time I tried was probably about 6 months ago.

So where do I go from here?? Google's directory feeds off the DMOZ directory, and DMOZ doesn't know this site exists. His site has been up for over a year, and I've spent a good portion of that trying to get into the directory. It was added to be reviewed in November (okay, so it wasn't 6 months <VBG>, it was 3.5 months, but I had requested the submission even before that)

You can go anywhere or do anything - it makes no difference. Once you have ascertained the site is the the pile [which was answered November 14, 2004], there is nothing else you can do. The Google information is not relevant - we ignore it. Continuing to post here doesn't help you - it just means we either ignore your posts [until the six months from 14Nov has elapsed] - which may appears rude - or you start getting answers that you don't like which frustrates you - or we get annoyed and tell you to stop posting and close the thread.
