I submitted the site The Accident Compensation People about 6 months ago to this directory
http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Business_and_Economy/Legal_Services/Claims_Services/

And havn't heard anything since.

If what you say is true (and I have no reason to believe it isn't) then you have been resubmitting your site to this category, the most recent being about a month ago.

What this does is overwirte the previous submisison, leaving no trace of it. If a reveiwing editor sorts the unreviewed area by submission date, then the effect that your resubmission has is to move it lower down the list, possibly delaying a review. 9if an editor sorts some other way there will be no change, of course).

So the best thing that re-submission will do is to no change the review time - the worst will be that it further delays it.

That having been said, your submission awaits review in that category.
