Hello,

I submitted several months ago, looks like I was denied. Just re-submitted a week or so ago. Any advice or updates would really be great!

Thanks in advance!

Advice, huh?

Do not make assumptions. Chances of your being right are negligable.

If rejected, do not resubmit. We do not like being treated like prospective victims of insurance salesmen.

Request a status check status, at the time allowed and with the information requested according to the forum policies which you should have "read before posting."

Updates, are, of course, in accordance with the forum policy, not available.

hutchenson,

Thank you for your advice! I am very open to suggestions and advice -- I would much prefer to get this right, rather than pester!

You are of course, correct. I did make the assumption that I was rejected. I have not received official notice that I was.

Submission timeline:

Original submission was between 6/2004 and 9/2004. (both would qualify for 6 months, right?)

One week ago: resubmission to same category/sub-directory as before.

I have not sought a status check status, as this is my first status check post.
I did read the forum policy section, but perhaps, unfortunately, AFTER re-submitting. If it was incorrect for me to re-submit -- my apologies.

I am guessing I also posted my thread in the wrong section -- that it should have been within the business directory. Sorry!

Thank you for getting back to me so very quickly. Your hard work and the hard work of others make the dmoz great! This is the very reason I am seeking advice and inclusion in the directory.

Regards and many thanks,

Aaron

Come back to this thread when it's been a month since your last submission, and an editor with access to that category will get back to you.

arubin,

Thank you! (also for your advice and quickness) wow. Ok, I'll be back in that time frame. Have a great day!

Lesson Learned: Don't be so quick to resubmit without finding more process information.
