I thought I fit perfectly in that category?

How about the first line - Sites selling magic kits, supplies and resources will not be listed in this category.

Ok, you so maybe you are not selling, but the intention of the site seems to me to sell magic tricks. Anyway, it's not my decision, it will be the editor in Teens who decides. So wait and see.

Well I hope I don't get disqualified for 1 lousy affiliate link. I will probably just remove it since I have yet to make a sale

I'm not sure how 'Bar tricks' are going to fly in Kids and Teens either.

You may not be aware that the K&T directory, whilst part of DMOZ, is considered a seperate directory for site listing purposes - it is very specific about the sites and age appropriateness for listing.

However a site listing (or not) in K&T does not affect the sites suitability for inclusion in the 'Classic' directory (say somewhere in http://dmoz.org/Arts/Performing_Arts/Magic/ ). You might want to choose the single best category there and suggest your site, as well as the existing suggestion to K&T.
