It is waiting there for review. When it's reviewed, the editor will look for significant unique content. If that's found, we generally list it.

If there is a unique business (that doesn't already have a website), and the website describe the business and the unique goods or services it offers, then some kind of ODP listing is easy to get. In Shopping categories, then the website also needs to give enough information to tell the customer what can be purchased, how much it will cost, and how it will be delivered.

That's pretty much from the guidelines. 99% of the time, a real business will include all that, simply because that's what customers need in order to pick out a supplier.

Well, duh. You can get a friend to look at the site. If they can make an order, add up the cost, then pick up the phone (either internet connection or the old 78-RPM audio style) or drop an order blank in the mailbox, and expect to get something in the mail from you, then ... the site is ready to accept business. If not, then you have problems an ODP listing won't solve.

What else could we say? We don't know what business you're in, or how many other websites it has, or what uniqueness there is in its products, any better than you do!

Thank you for your quick reply, Hutcheson. I feel confident we are well covered. We have unique content, followed HFE best practices, have shipping and returns info, and other details. I just wanted to make sure we are still in the queue so I can give my client an update.

I know you guys have a big job! I appreciate the time you take to do this. Thanks! - DD
