Status of http://www.cafegetaway.com

Would like to check the status of http://www.cafegetaway.com . This is a site that was added around May 22, 2003 and I just was checking links to it and found that it had been removed (or disappeared) from ODP.

The listing was suspended because the site was down when an editor visited. However, it now appears to be working so I have reinstated the site for you. It will show up in the directory the next time the public side is updated.

Any record of when the site was down so I can write to my host and let them know?

How often does an editor visit a site? What a horrible coincidence that they happened on CafeGetaway when it was down.

Well, the listing was suspended on the 9th June, if that helps. The editor in question was based in the UK, so it could have just been a faulty link somewhere on the line.

All sites are spidered automatically by Robozilla, our link checker, usually 4-5 times each year, and he highlights any sites which are not working. Some editors do check links more often, usually with tools like TulipChain but this doesn't happen that often. You were probably just unlucky.

Any time frame on when the reinstatement might take place?

See the post above - it's been reinstated, you need to wait along with everyone else for the public version of dmoz to update before you'll see your link back in the category. We don't have any idea as to when this will be.
