Hi there, could someone kindly let me know what the status of my submission is for http://www.centralcrafts.com/ I submitted it about 2 months ago to the following categories.

http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Photography/Albums_and_Frames/Wedding/
http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Crafts/Ceramics/

4 submissions were caught by our spam trap (not to say that it is spam, but it may be that your ISP is cloaking your IP address or something similar). Three were deleted.

2 submissions were deleted from Shopping/Pets
1 submission was deleted from Shopping/Crafts

A submission in http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Photography/Albums_and_Frames/Wedding is awaiting review along with around 20 oither sites.

I just want to remind you of the text on the submission page:
Identify the single best category for your site.  The Open Directory has an enormous array of subjects to choose from.  You should submit a site to the single most relevant category.  Sites submitted to inappropriate or unrelated categories may be rejected or removed.

Maybe someone missed that while they were doing all the submissions to all those categories.

Multiple submissions like this can jeopardize the chances of getting listed.

Thanks very much for the information, its good to know that it is in the que for review. The category that it is waiting review for is without doubt the most relevant category for the site.

Hi I wonder if some one could kindly check on the status of

which Allucard told me was waiting review with 20 other sites in

I Would be very grateful to know how the pile is doing and if my site has been seen yet. Thank you

The submission is still pending REVIEW. REVIEW does not always mean listing. However, it is still waiting.

Thanks for the ultra quick reply. I understand that it is only awaiting review.

Is the pile diminishing any at all? It seems to be taking a really long time!

We won't go into discussion of how many other sites are waiting, or how "fast" the category is being reviewed, because we have found that there is no correlation between those numbers and the time of review of a particular site.

Hi would someone mind giving me a status update please! I cant belive its been 2 years now!...

Could someone just have a quick look at my site i dont think there is any doubt that it is suitable for a listing... What takes so long???

Your suggestion is awaiting review but we can't predict when that might be. If it hasn't been listed in 6 months from today, please ask again in this same thread.

You might have misunderstood what we do here, which is most definitely not to provide a free listing service to webmasters and certainly not in a time scale of their choosing.
