About DMOZ listing

Hi,
First of all I am a new member here. I have registered today.
Hello to Every one.
I have been submitting my site more than a year at DMOZ about every 3 months or so but unfortunately I haven't get listed at DMOZ. I am not sure why because I have never received any email from Dmoz about the site submission I have made. My website URL is http://www.chat-place.org . This site is ranked #1 to #3 for high volume keyword like " teen chat " including google,yahoo,altavista,aol,msn,lycos and much more But unfortunately Dmoz hasn't listed my page. This http://www.chat-place.org is mostly Teen and chat related site.
After longtime surfing I have finally discovered this Forum. I heard from others that This Forum is one of the most Populat Forum in the world.
I am hoping this forum will help me what I am looking for.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

About Dmoz Listing for http://www.chat-place.org

I used my site catagory for http://www.chat-place.org as

http://www.dmoz.org/Kids_and_Teens/Computers/Chats_and_Forums/Teens/

As I mentioned I have submitted many times but never got listed at DMOZ.
My site is on most search engines except DMOZ.
Hoping one day My site will get listed at DMOZ . You can see previous post from me which also has details.
Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

Please, stop submitting this site. It's currently waiting in both Games/Online/Chats_and_Forums/IRC and Computers/Internet/Chat. It's still pending; it has not been rejected.

It cannot be published in the Kids_and_Teens directory because it violates the guidelines of that part of the directory. You can find those guidelines here for more information: http://dmoz.org/guidelines/kguidelines

Submitting a site multiple times increases the time it takes for the site to be listed.

THis is retarded. The volunteers discriminate and exclude sites for years or months 'just cause' they feel like it.

Hi,
Thanks for the clarification. I am extremely sorry that the site http://www.chat-place.org was submitted 2 times already in 2 catagories Games/Online/Chats_and_Forums/IRC and Computers/Internet/Chat which is still pending as you stated. Actually Computers/Internet/Chat is a great catagory for http://www.chat-place.org . I already checked kids/teens guidelines.
I am new to this and quick prompt response from you, which is really great.

I was wondering when I can expect http://www.chat-place.org get listed at DMOZ? It has been long time(years) I am trying to get listed at DMOZ. My site is popular in most of the engines. But it hasn't listed at DMOZ.

There is no basis for any expectation. There are no official deadlines or priorities. There are only what volunteers feel needs most to be done for the surfers.

It's just that It has been years I am trying to get my page http://www.chat-place.org listed at DMOZ, and it still hasn't happened. Sorry for I was using the new thread. I have question What Quote does? Is it create a separate thread?

Hi,
I would like to know about the current status of http://www.chat-place.org . I have submitted this page long time ago. I also would like to know after how long interval I can check the status of this URL http://www.chat-place.org again. If I get response what is the current status of the page, next time I will ask this question after 2 months which will be next year or as you suggest.
This URL listed in most Engines Except DMOZ.
Any help would be appreciated.

I simply told you in 2 other threads to keep your comments to this one thread and since you had a status update on October 4th, you may return after April 4, 2005 for a 6 month check.

As for using a new thread, you have created many threads which have either been merged into this one or deleted all together. When you return after April 4th, please bump this thread and do not create a new one.

Hi, I think I miss understood you in anyway, Accept my appology. Actually when I was talking about my page http://www.chat-place.org that listed in every engines and you respond to that " we don't care about your page rank" which I feel offended. I am sorry that I missunderstood you. Also when I saw those posting was deleted It meant to me you don't care what i said. So, I think it was missunderstading from me. I may be new to this forum but I have been dealing with users where 30k+ users for long time. I Know how users are. I do appreciate after all this pressure you still continue do your job and try to help people.

Today is April 6th, 2005 . My page http://www.chat-place.org is still not on Dmoz. Will you please tell me the status of my submission of my page http://www.chat-place.org . Do I need to resubmit my page? and suggested directory? I have been trying years to get listed at Dmoz.
Hoping to get my page listed at Dmoz one day.
