I think the guy that used to edit the cat. has quit doing it. I know he moved to spain for a while is there a way to get another editor to edit it?

Just because a category does not have a listed editor does not mean no one handles it. Editors higher up in the directory tree and editall+ editors who can edit in the entire directory can edit that category. Sorry but I cannot give you a time frame for listing, it gets reviewed when it gets reviewed.
