In the body of your post, include a clickable link to the dmoz.org category you submitted to. The simplest way to do this is to copy and paste the ODP category you submitted to (i.e. http://dmoz.org/....).

Can you let us know which other categories you also suggested this URL?

There is no submission in the category you name, but a submission was recently declined from category Shopping/Crafts/Supplies/Stenciling - the reviewing editor in their notes said that they found another submission somewhere else, but not where.

If you could tell us where else the site was submitted, we can try to track it down.

Thanks.

Oops...Sorry

Sorry for giving the incorrect catgory. Actually I was confused as to which category it should feature in. The site sells pergamano (craft supplies - paper, paining materials, tools, etc.) and stencils. Will you be able to help me to post in the appropriate one.

Since you got a status report on April 9, you are eligible for another status check on May 9 at the earliest. Thanks.

No editor-caused change in any of your requests.

(In other words, I can't tell if you've made additional submissions, but no editor has deleted the ones there.)

Hello,

If the editor has not acted on the submission, how do I alert an editor to look at it? Since it is more than a couple of months since I posted it, I would like to know why it has not appeared in the directory. Should I post it again?

The site hasn't appeared because it has not been reviewed by an editor.

No, there's no way to force an editor to look at any given submittal. Editors have several (hundred thousand) submittals to look at, if that's what we want to do. And there are many fine sites that have never been submitted at all, to find and list. And there are lots of dead links to clean up. Editors can choose their own priorities.

There's no point in submitting again, and several good reasons not to. Either it will just overwrite the old submittal (thus losing whatever priority an older submittal had, which usually isn't much) or it will duplicate it, requiring an editor to snarl and delete the extras. (Well, the snarl is optional and sometimes omitted.) But a new submittal is not better than an old one; two submittals are not better than one.
