Has my site made it any closer to the top of the list for a review?
I'm afraid I can't answer that, because your question makes two assumptions that are not valid. The first is that there is one static list. This is not correct, as editors may sort the unreviewed suggested sites in several ways, so your site may be in several different places, depending on how an editor decides to sort. The second assumption is that being "on the top of the list" means you will be the next to be reviewed. It might mean that, but it also might not. Volunteer editors are not required to review sites in any particular order. Some mostly edit the oldest suggested sites first, but others may choose to look for "easy" sites with good titles and descriptions.
So I really have no idea where your site stands, and I don't know how long it will take before it gets reviewed. Sorry the news isn't better, but you are welcome to check back in this thread for an update. Given the number of sites, I'd suggest waiting 2 or 3 months, in order to save yourself some time and effort.
