I was under the impression that my site would be reviewed within 30 days (it has been 70 days). I had also volunteered to be an editor for that category and was denied because they said they had enough people editting that category. If they had enough people, wouldn't my site have been reviewed within 30 days?

I don't think we can have too many editors, but becoming an editor can be difficult. That's a topic for another thread.

We definitely don't promise to review sites within 30 days. We don't promise to review them within in 6 months! All we promise is to give you a status check if you wait at least 30 days after submission before asking. (And we'll usually give you one even if you don't wait 30 days, but we might make you wait 30 days after asking to get a response if you don't abide by our 30 day rule.)

We suggest people wait a couple of months before posting here for a status check, and require a minimum of 30 days.
