http://www.eastbay.com/ and http://www.nflshop.com/ were submitted back in Dec 02 but havent seen them in Open Directory yet. Any reason why?

These were submitted to Open Directory back in Dec 02. I am still waiting for them to be included there.
We need a specific category before we we can give you any answers. Taking a look around I see that you've been submitting to a collection of categories, and lots of submissions have been deleted as duplicates. There are probably some left in queues somewhere, but I can't tell where.

Thats part of the problem. I submitted the site and NFL Shop in several different categories as it pertains to several. I am just looking to get it listed at least once somewhere.

Well since I did not try to spam, what can I do now to see if it will be submitted to a category. I dont want to resubmit again because then I would be spamming. Any suggestions?

All I need to know is if I need to resubmit http://www.eastbay.com/ and http://www.nflshop.com/ in the one category it fits best again or will these two reviewed from previous submissions. If I have to start over I will.

nflshop.com is waiting in the unreviewed queue of Shopping/Sports/Football/American/NFL - don't re-submit it.

Thanks for the update on NFL Shop. Can someone tell me the update to http://www.eastbay.com/ as to whether I need to resubmit this site or is it waiting to be reviewed? I am just trying to get status so I dont spam the submissions. As noted above I may have submitted to several categories and I have been reprimanded. The last thing I want to do is spam this sight.

Since eastbay.com, nflshop.com, and footlocker.com are all part of the same company (fka Venator Group, which grew out of Woolworth's, and which is now known as Foot Locker, Inc.), the e-commerce activities are even part of the same division of Foot Locker, Inc., and they all sell athletic apparel, I sincerely doubt we will list all three of these.

Eastbay is one many entities under the roof of Footlocker Inc. Our ecommerce sites we run are under Footlocker.com which is part of FL Inc. The sites we maintain are separate entities under this roof and should be treated separate. In fact the ODP has Footlocker.com, LadyFootlocker.com, KidsFootlocker.com and Champssports.com list separate which are all part of Footlocker Inc. All I am asking is will Eastbay.com become part of ODP? Do I have to resubmit? Is is banned for some reason? I just need to know status so I can take mearsures to get it in. Thanks for your help

ODP does not list fraternal mirrors. LadyFootlocker.com, KidsFootlocker.com, Champssports.com and Eastbay are fraternal mirrors of Footlocker.com, which is listed appropriately in http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Clothing/Footwear/Athletic/. The policy in regards to not listing mirror sites is found at http://dmoz.org/guidelines/include.html#notinclude
The listings for the other mirrors that you refer to as proof that this site should be listed have been removed, with the main footlocker site being the only listing remaining.

That is not true, I did a content search using random products from several of the subsites and found the exact same products listed on the main footlocker site.
To answer your question, no, it will not be listed.

Well I think you are wrong. Eastbay although may have same content as Footlocker it is still separate from Footlocker in that Eastbay has exclusive rights to certain products Footlocker doesnt and carries many brand names Footlocker can not. So they are not mirrors if they dont sell the same!
