I would like to know the status of http://www.iblist.com . It was submitted to http://dmoz.org/Arts/Literature/Reviews_and_Criticism/Directories/

The site actually *should* go into Arts->Literature as it is informative at that level, but alas, I know it will never happen.

Your site is waiting for review both in the category you mention and in http://dmoz.org/Arts/Literature/Directories . It won't get listed in both categories, but I can't say which category is more likely - that will be decided by the reviewing editor.

If you haven't seen the site listed in 6 months' time, you are welcome back to ask for status again by March 12. (This has no bearing on the time it will take to review your site. It's just a way for us to manage the volume of requests.)

Can you give any estimate on what the queue is for those categories so I can get a general idea?

No, sorry. We don't do that. It really doesn't correlate well to submission review times.

I see. So the point of the sute submission status forum is to say if the submission was received?

It was a good idea to post another reply to push the thread up again.

Your submission is still waiting in Arts: Literature: Reviews and Criticism: Directories, and I hope it will soon be reviewed.

I thought there was a note in the FAQs about what to do if a request isn't answered...

[faq=rz_faq#faq_no_answer]Why hasn't anybody answered my status request?[/faq] Perhaps it should be in the submission readme files, as well?
