Status Check

Hello. Can someone please give me the status of our submission (www.iconidentity.com). It was submitted to: http://dmoz.org/Business/Marketing_...sing/Promotional_Products/Varied_Merchandise/

sometime around two years ago. Each time I check I'm just told it's waiting on review-- as recently as last June. If it has been declined, etc... I would just like to know.

Most editors do not like getting requests to give a site preferential treatment. It's best to sit back and relax.

Thing is, we don't know who the reviewing editor will be. The vast majority of all edits are done by "senior" editors who aren't listed in the category at all, but have editing privileges in in the parent category (or more likely, some remote ancestral category.)

We don't know where any one of them wants to go on any day; towards each of them, the acceptable attitude is: "do good where you will, and grace to you!" We get more productivity out of them that way. Which is what you need most when you're overworked.

As probably should have been mentioned, the length of time since a site was LAST submitted, simply isn't an indication of the site's importance.
