Hello,

It's normally a good idea to make a note of the category you submitted to. It looks like you possibly submitted to:

http://www.dmoz.org/World/Español/Computadoras/Software/Freeware_y_shareware

DMOZ does not send out emails telling you if the site was listed or not. With the information above an editor with the correct permissions should be able to give you the status of your submission.

If it is waiting for review in that category, only an editor with permissions there will be able to see it. It has to be reviewed and accepted before it is listed for all to see. Be patient and someone with permissions in that category will check the status for you.

I don't know. The editor note is in Spanish (which doesn't happen to be the language I know fluently). There is a possibility that it was deleted by mistake. Someone fluent in Spanish will have to look at your site to determine that.

Well, we aren't allowed to get into discussions on why a site is not listed.

Usually sites are not listed for one of two reasons:

The lack unique content (not found elsewhere on the) web

They fall into a category of unlistable sites found in our editing guidelines.

...and as for your site, it's not working. (which may or may not have been the problem when it was reviewed - if there was some other problem it's impossible to tell.) Non-working sites are not listed, as you may imagine. {moz}

The lack unique content? what is that supposed to mean ?

What content can be found on your site and your site alone (and no place else on the web) ?

Can it be easily found?

That is contrary to the rules of the forum. I can tell you that the problem was probably not due to the Geocities issue, we are painfully aware of how many sites are less available as the month ends, so we tend not to take quick action on Geocities sites that do not come up.

Your best bet is to read and re-read the submission guidelines and compare them to your site with a critical eye.
