Hmmm ok thanks. I've seen quite a few sites with distinct sections listed in more than one category, which I believe our JS Reference section to be. Thanks for the update.

That would be called a "deeplink", and for "extraordinary" sites (a judgment editors but not submitters are invited to make) we do it.

But there are some deeplinks that we basically never do. And one such Link That Is Not Linked is the situation described here: subpage of a site in a category where a surfer could get to the location of the site's listing in a single click. That's the job of YOUR navigation, not ours!

So, a category will nearly always be listed in only one of two "related categories", only in the parent category but in none of the child categories, only in the parent category but not in a @linked category, and so on.

HOWEVER: if the JS Reference section is significant, it should be mentioned in the site's description -- and you might consider making an update request if it isn't mentioned already.

Hi:
Thanks. I understand and can appreciate the review process when it comes to deep linking. The reason why I submitted the JS Ref section knowing that the root domain is already included in another category is since I felt this section is unique and growing independently from the rest of the site. Non of the other pages on JK were submitted seperately. Obviously it's all subjective as far as what's "unique" and "extraordinary", but that was my mentality when submitting the URL.

Thanks,

JavaScript Reference

I know your JavaScript Reference, I have read it all and I appreciate it very much. On the Internet there are a lot of resources about javascript. There are many books about javascript. In my experience about javascript programming I can say that most resources are too trivial or too complex while your JavaScript Reference is well balanced and allows a fast learning curve in Javascript programming.
