Yes it was awaiting review there, but when I actually look at the site, you only supply to the UK.

I can also see that you've submitted it to several other categories too. Fortunately, a kind editor moved one of these to within UK Shopping where it really belongs and currently awaits review. Please do not make further submissions elsewhere.

I submitted a request for http://www.kidzcraft.co.uk to be added to your list of companies dealing with craft under http://www.dmoz.org/Shopping/Crafts/Supplies/Children/ over 2 months ago. Jim Noble replied a month ago and advised the site should be listed under the UK area at http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Business_and_Economy/Shopping/Children/Parties/. I would be interested to know if it had been reviewed or disallowed. If the latter, any chance of hinting why so I can improve the site.

Thank you.

I merged the new thread you started with your previous thread. Please bookmark and reuse this thread in the future. :)

The rules regarding status checks have been revised since your last visit. You are welcome to recheck again after November 9 if you don't see your site listed. Thanks :)

Site www.kidzcraft.co.uk

HI again. I have waited till November 9th has past, as requested, but the site is still not in the directory. Could I ask if there is a reason or the queue is not being serviced.

Many thanks for your time!

The site is still there awaiting a review.

Due to the volunteer nature of the directory and its editors there is no way of being able to guess when the site may be reviewed. Incidently there is no queue - merely a 'pool' of suggested sites that can be reviewed in any order.

Hope this helps.

Many thanks for your reply. From the outside looking in, the fact that there is a pool rather than a queue is a little disconcerting..

Time again

Another month has past and it is the time of the year when spirits run high, please make mine and review our site. It would bring much joy to see
it in the directory for the start of 2005. I hope you have time.

Thank you!

Posting here has absolutely no effect on when your site will be reviewed and it's very unlikely that one of us here would be doing the job anyway. If it hasn't been listed by 15th May 2005, by all means ask again.

As to your being disconcerted by there being a pool rather than a queue, editors are entirely free to review websites in any order they choose. When there's a large pool and I have limited time, I cherry pick the ones that have taken the most care to write guidelines compliant titles and descriptions.

Many thanks for the reply Jim. I am sure the task of the reviewer is difficult as it can be frustrating from the outside.. Godd luck and thanks for the dilligence without it there would be no directory.

Jim, if you're still moderating this thread, the May date is upon us. What can I do to help move the inclusion forward? Anything? I'm concious that I may just have to wait.

Thanks.

Things are pretty strict around here. 15th May doesn't mean 14th May. Bump the thread tomorrow.

You can't do anything to move the inclusion forward. Only wait. Maybe there are other usefull things you can do with your life, but that is up to you to decide. ;)

As far as I can see nothing has happened with your suggestion since you last asked. You can see that as being bad (it isn't listed) or as being good (it isn't rejected either).
