I have not looked at your site, nor at your submission, but I cannot help but wonder if you mis-submitted. You should submit to the Regional category where your office is located, not where you market, thus, in all likelihood, your submission belongs within a locality.

Our office is located in the Midwest (Minneapolis) and we market Minnesota and Wisconsin vacation properties (Midwest)..The other listings in this category are similar to us - they are actually our clients as well.

I hope I am in the correct category..could use some help if possible..I understand it can take a very long time but it has been quite a few months since I submitted.

If you look at our site, we are not real estate agents or an agency. We are a listing service (like the MLS) for Minnesota and Wisconsin realtors..we cover all of Minnesota and all of Wisconsin. Our listing definately does not belong in the category you have recommended..We are a regional website featuring lake property for sale, cabin rentals, and resorts throughout both states - a directory if you will..not a real estate company/business. That would be like placing Yahoo.com or Google.com in their specific locality next to their local barber shop.

Discussion on an internal Editors forum has led me to the conclusion that I'm wrong -- the category you suggested probably is the correct location.

As no editor has actually answered the question of whether you have successfully submitted, it might be best if you :bump: this thread by replying, so that possibly an editor with access to that category could check.

Thank you very much for looking into this for me..Is there any chance of getting a review soon? We have worked very hard on our website and we would greatly appreciate it if someone would be kind enough to review it for us. I understand that this category does not have an editor, but any help is greatly appreciated!

We cannot predict when an editor will get to it. We understand the pride of ownership and development, and any type of prediction we give could be misleading.

So now I have to wait 6 months for help? I was biting my nails for the last 30 days waiting to post.. I would appreciate it very, very, very much if an editor could take a look at my site since their is not a resident editor in my category..It would be a nice addition to the directory..I guess I will ask again in 6 months..but I hope one of you wonderful, beautiful, talented, highly intelligent, self motivated editors will help a good guy out!

This is my first experience submitting a site to the directory. I thought I should get a box of chocolates simply because I was able to find this forum.

Editor sole, who is above-all kind and gracious, gave you a status report on May 11.

That means that none of the rest of us are allowed to be either kind or gracious until some time after November 11.

Hello Editors!

It has been 6 long months since I last asked for a status and about 1 year since I first asked for LakePlace.com to be reviewed for inclusion.

I have played by all of the rules (and they even changed in the middle) - Again, I ask that someone review http://www.LakePlace.com for inclusion in the directory. It is a great site for anyone who is interested in this stuff and it will make a great addition.

I guess no one here cares

I am not asking for the status of LakePlace.com - I understand that in one year no one has looked at my submission and no one cares whether or not my site is added to the directory.

I have seen other people moan and complain in this forum and it actually worked - their site was listed. I follow all of the rules, wait a year, nothing.

All I get is "No Soup For You!"

It is too bad the system is broken. :(
