It's listed. It will show up on the public pages when the public pages get updated (which automatic process is undergoing growing pains right now, so we can't say when that will be.)

Thanks for the update. I know you can not tell me exactly how long it will take to show up, but can you give me an estimate on how long, based upon other website listings.

Or possibly give me a time frame for when I should be concerned if my site has not shown up yet and I should contact you guys again.

At the bottom of the page it says Last update: 14:17 PT, Sunday, July 6, 2003

Wait for that date to change. When it does you should find your site listed.

No, we can't give an estimate, because it's out of our hands. It has nothing to do with how many sites are waiting for review, because it's not waiting for review -- it has been reviewed and accepted.

It's an automatic thing, and the automatic thingie that will do it is being debugged even as we speak (unless staff has done something very unusual and taken the weekend off.)

I am writing in regards to the fact that I was told my website www.low-carb-diet-plan.com was accepted to the category:

http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Health/Weight_Loss/Programs/

and that I would see it listed the next time that the category was refreshed. Well, the category was just refreshed a couple of days ago, and I do not see my site listed. I was wondering if you could explain what is going on and if you could list my site in the category as soon as possible.

If you look through the various posts here, you will see that the are continued references indicating that the public pages have not been refreshed and there is no target date.

If you were a looking at DMOZ about 3 hours ago, you might have seen for a few minutes the current date as the update date. But your site would not have been in that category.

It seems that after your site was accepted in the first category, it was reviewed again and moved to http://dmoz.org/Health/Weight_Loss/

bobrat is correct, the site itself is not actually selling a product and does not meet criteria to be a shopping site but does have useful information so it was moved. We apolagize for the confusion as to telling you it was listed in the category you submitted to as that listing was in error. :D
