Submission to Shopping

Hi Jim,

I have another quick query in regard to my submission (before I maintain radio silence for another 6 months ;-) )...

I have submitted to http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/Business_and_Economy/Shopping/, I did this because the company is European-based and does not ship outside of the EU. But the company is also solely focussed on selling Palm PDA, so http://dmoz.org/Computers/Systems/Handhelds/Palm_OS/Shopping/ would perhaps be a much more relevant category. Indeed, Yahoo.com have placed us in a similar category, but one that also has a regional categorisation: LuzernTech Yahoo Listing

So my question is:
Do I qualify for a dual submission as per: FAQ (multiple submissions), and would doing so have any negative impact on my current submission or would it be considered completely separate.

Many companies are eligible for listing both by region and by topic. Go ahead and make a single by-topic submission to the best possible category -- there will be no penalty for doing so.

Great. In 30 days you can return to this thread and get an initial status check on that submission. Then, I'd wait a total of six months and get status on both submissions at that time.
