Please let me know the status of http://www.medassistant.org
to: http://dmoz.org/Health/Medicine/Education or an area related to health education. We have been trying to have our site listed for at least 6 months and are have difficulty getting listed. Are we doing something incorrectly? Thanks!

Apparently several suggestions have been received. I don't see one in the cat you cite, but one awaits review in http://dmoz.org/Reference/Education/Distance_Learning/Online_Courses

The second question: there is no mechanism for "trying to get listed." There is only a mechanism for "suggesting sites for editor review."

Once you've suggested once, that's all you need to do, and all you can do. Nobody can predict WHEN an editor will actually review the site, but a six-month delay after submittal is in no way unusual.
