I sure hope an ODP Editor can provide me a status of my website Melrose Urban Female listing? I submitted my website to the DMOZ on 10/11/03, again on 02/19/04 and finally on 03/02/04 in category dmoz.org/Adult/Shopping/Sex_Toys_and_Supplies/M/. I know this process can take weeks, however, I wasn't prepared for it to take months.
I've read all the guidelines and I'm confident that my website adheres to these. Although I'm getting some traffic to my site, it's a result of the advertising agreements that I have with other websites. I recognize how important it is to have search engine visibility... beginning with being in the DMOZ directory!
I've had many customers compliment my website and let me know how comfortable they feel shopping at Melrose Urban Female - uniquely providing a confidential and secure online environment for purchases they might otherwise be too timid to make in a store. Our company policies include no emails to the customers except for order confirmation and tracking, and no popups.
